Welcome back to The Trainer Feed! On this episode we discuss the importance of inflammation in recovery and the role of ice in injuries. Coach David discusses his views on ice and how he treats minor inflammation. As we progress in our journey of strength, we sometimes hit a point where we get hurt. Minor injuries typically go away on their own after a few days. Many fitness experts debate on whether ice is a good form of treatment for inflammation. Ice can definitely have its benefits on treating inflammation, however we must not forget that inflammation is the body’s natural response to treating an injury.
