Episode 113: Personal Records
Welcome back to The Trainer Feed! On this episode we discuss attempting personal records at the gym. Following a solid strength program, usually we like to attempt to break our previous record of 1 repetition of a given exercise. We discuss how often a training client should be attempting to break a personal record in a safe way. One rep maxes are very demanding on the human body and trying to perform 1 rep maxes continually can be detrimental to your training.
